Linguistics:        Language documentation: Aromanian – an endangered language in the Balkans.
Deictic linguistic devices across languages and cohesion with other grammatical and lexical features.
Corpus building and analysis; Grammatical feature extraction from corpora; Document classification.

E-Learning:       Use of collocations and concordances from “real” text in teaching linguistic concepts.

2008-2009:        Centro Nazionale per l'Informatica nella Pubblica Amministrazione (National Centre for Informatics in Public Adminstration (CNIPA) and National Research Council (CNR), Italy: co-applicant with Laboratorio di Documentazione, UNICAL: Initial funding €30,000 ($48,000). Part of the larger project CLAUDIO - Classificazione Automatica Documenti Informatici (Automatic Classification of Computer Documents).
